This site
I'm Anders Breindahl---better known as ``skrewz'', and this is my site for presenting myself, and hosting stuff that in this day and age probably doesn't require a personal website anymore.
This identity
Besides being called skrewz, I am a free software enthusiast and a computer scientist. For the professional part of skrewz, I'm dedicating a page on the professional me.
Sections
- Slash -- the site that you're at.
- Thoughts -- off-load for my thinking. That is, that of it that I'm willing to share.
- Howto -- the few howto's I've written are hosted here.
- Static -- statically hosted files. Stuff that could be permalinked.
- Dvorak -- files and drivers for using ``Norsk Dvorak'' (similar to ``Dansk Dvorak'', but I'm a Dvorak user from before that).
Minor inconveniences
This nick
I believe that I was the first ``skrewz'' out there. (Albeit, at the time, I was ``SKREWZ'' -- the first Debian install prompted me for a lowercase username, and the Windows-era SKREWZ was phased out).
I remember doing an ICQ (!) search for my nick back then, turning up two of my profiles and something from the U.S., which I can't remember what was. Since then, the nickname ``skrewz'' (in any casing) has become somewhat more widespread. Especially thanks to myspace and the likes.
Also, I might add, that I have nothing to do with ``Loose Skrewz'' -- although I find the association funny; the least likely connection I could think of. I neither have had any contact with the group as of yet.
The same applies to ``13skrewz''.
The same applies to ``n16skrewz''.
This should however be me: Digitally Imported profile SKREWZ.
This was me: newz.dk profile SKREWZ.
But yes. Don't trust based on neither nick or name. Use crypto.
